I am in New Orleans. I arrived safely last night and immediately went out drinking with all kinds of scary characters. New Orleans is a hotbed of decrepid individuals, hell bent on drunken debauchery in the most innocuous dealings.

Now that's out of the system..... The weather is warm. no parkas here folks. It was 80F when I got here and it cooled down to maybe 75 when I went home at 2 am.

I love New Orleans, love the city, love the stench, love the people, love the weather, love the food (catfish for lunch today), love the accents (there are Georgians here), love everything about this place.

So y'all are missing a great Halloween time, and no parkas under the costumes so you can see everything........... Each and every one of you need to be here for Halloween at some point. People don't care who you are, you are welcome anyway. Do you know the expression "Gate Night"? They don't know it here. It's Halloween Eve, and the liquids flow like super-fluids.

I'm safe. Faulkner - Light in August is finished. I'm half-way through Confederacy of Dunces, a must read before any trip to New Orleans!

How do i load pictures into my blog?

I can't figure it out. Can you? Leave comments.

Wow to the comments. I especially like that Mr. R and that Babz. Scumite is obviously a dumbass, and ed? ed won't even be identified. Now that's low!

Anywho.....
Cat's Cradle - Vonnegut
The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Kundera
Poisonwood Bible - Kingsolver

Still haven't found a real job. Perhaps the world is secretly run by Philipinos. That would explain so much, all my problems boil down to the wily Philipino.
